We had a great time, Little pricey but to be expected in a touristy area. So we had a little fun, we lived in Italy for five years and spoken in Italian the whole time even pretending not to speak English. No one spoke Italian but it was really fun. The people were courteous the food was good but definitely not traditional Italian, maybe traditional New York Italian. The atmosphere was very lovely as well. Thank you for the good time and we may be back in on our next trip to Augustine.

The food at this Italian restaurant was a little bit of a roller coaster. On one hand the bread had a beautiful crunch on the outside and a nice warm soft inside, while the lasagna was well layered, meaty, and cheesy but not over done. But on the other hand the noodles in the fettuccine Alfredo were still a bit tough and we paid an extra six dollars for four shrimp. The atmosphere is definitely the weak point here, the decor is very out dated, the dining room is dim, and there is a strong smell of mildew. My first instinct was to go else where but I don't believe in reading a book by its cover. The staff and service was the high point of my experience, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. You really get the sense that it's a family run restaurant, from the time you sit down you feel like you're sitting at Grandma's house having a meal.

Originating from New Jersey - I have high standards when it comes to Italian food. They are the best in town, and it’s really not close.
